Can you put collagen in coffee?

By the CYRCA team · Published

Yes. Unflavoured hydrolysed collagen is made to dissolve in drinks, and your morning coffee is one of the easiest places to put it. That is exactly what Rise is designed for.

How to mix it without clumps

Tip the sachet into your cup first, add a little coffee and stir, then top up. A milk frother or a quick stir with a spoon both work. Rise also goes into porridge or a glass of water if you prefer.

Will it change the taste?

Rise is unflavoured and unsweetened, contains no caffeine and is designed to be sugar free, so it is made to disappear into the coffee you already drink.

Collagen and vitamin C

No health claim is authorised for collagen itself in the UK, so we make none. Vitamin C is different: vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin. That is why each Rise sachet pairs 10 g of collagen peptides with 80 mg of vitamin C, 100% of the daily reference intake.

What else is in Rise

Each sachet also provides 25 µg of vitamin D3, 75 µg of vitamin K2, 10 mg of zinc and 55 µg of selenium. Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function. Rise contains vitamin K, so if you take an anticoagulant such as warfarin, speak to your doctor first.

Rise uses bovine collagen, so it is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. See what is inside Rise.
